Stanowisko chronionej ryby - różanki Rhodeus sericeus w Wisłoce na terenie Beskidu Niskiego

Polaco. W dniu 2 maja 2012 roku, w Wisłoce koło miejscowości Myscowa (Beskid Niski) odnaleziono stanowisko ściśle chronionego gatunku ryby – różanki Rhodeus sericeus. Odnotowano kilkanaście osobników w ubarwieniu godowym zasiedlających niewielkie starorzecze oddzielone od głównego nurtu rzeki kamienistą łachą częściowo porośniętą roślinnością. Jest to obecnie jedyne w Polsce stanowisko tego gatunku w granicach alpejskiego regionu biogeograficznego.

Inglés. On May 2, 2012, a site with European Bitterling Rhodeus sericeus was found in the Wisłoka River near the Myscowa village (the Beskid Niski Mts). Several individuals in breeding coloration were recorded. These were inhabiting a small old riverbed, separated from the main stream of the river with rocky sandbank, partially covered with vegetation. The site with this species in the Wisłoka catchment is currently the only one in Poland within the alpine biogeographical region (alt 337 m). The European Bitterling is a strictly protected species (Rozporządzenie 2011), included in the Polish Red Book of Animals (Głowaciński 2001) and in Annex II of the Habitats Directive (Dyrektywa 1992).
