In the first time has been lead the ecological monitoring of sources of water supply of a pig-breeding complex and adjoining human settlements on seasons of year and to develop a method of improvement of water quality for giving to drink pigs. Scientific novelty consists that for the first time in Belarus ecological monitoring of sources of water supply in the conditions of a pig-breeding complex and human settlements adjoining to it is made. Influence of large pig-breeding object on quality of water of the occluded water sources is studied. It is positioned microbial contamination waters depending on remoteness from cattle-breeding object and a season of year

In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there was analyzed the influence of a fodder additive Water Trit liquid on quality of water and productivity of swine. Research results showed that administration of the fodder additive Water Trit liquid on the basis of organic acids promoted the increasing of productivity of pigs on 8,2% (P less than 0,01) in comparison with pigs of a control group. Improvement of biochemical indices of blood at experimental pigs was marked. The optimum dosage of the fodder additive Water Trit liquid was 4 ml/l of consumed water. Application of the fodder additive at feeding of pigs positively influenced on quality of water and promoted the destruction of pathogenic microflora in it. The results of tests of water by chemical indices, dynamics of body weight after application of acidulent; fiber fraction, albuminous factor were showed.

In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there was realized an ecological monitoring of sources of water supply in the conditions of a swine breeding complex and adjoining settlements. There was studied the influence of a large swine breeding complex on water quality of closed type water sources. There was marked a microbial contamination of water depending on remoteness of animal breeding object and season of a year. There were determined the seasonal changes of physical properties, chemical and bacteriological composition of water used for swine breeding. There were noted changes in water quality in the process of its flow from the point of water inlet up to the place of its consumption. Results of influence of improved water on piglets were presented. There was studied the possibility of improvement of water quality by means of its treatment with solution of potassium hypermanganate (0,01%) which made it possible to increase average daily live weight gain of piglets. In course of the study there was realized the analysis of protein spectrum of blood serum of piglets; dynamics of body weight and average daily weight gain of experimental piglets.

Results of study of a pollution level of drinking water around a pig-breeding complex and degree of its distribution in Gorodok district of the Republic of Belarus were presented. For carrying out the monitoring of water objects around the pig-breeding complex there was analysed the drinking water in Palminka and Gorodok localities. Water tests were taken once in three months (September, December, March, June), in the morning. Tests of drinking water used on complexes, were taken once a month. Research results showed that drinking water quality on the pig-breeding complex was considerably lower in comparison with the remoted from it water sources. Closeness of the pig-breeding complex lowered the water quality both on the territory of swine complex and on the territory of neighboring objects. Results of the chemical water analysis, organoleptic estimation, and water correspondence to the sanitary-hygienic standard were presented
