Мета. Оцінити інтродуковані зразки гороху посівного (Pisum sativum L.) різного еколого-географічного походження в умовах південної частини Лісостепу України за комплексом показників продуктивності та адаптивності. Методи. Протягом 2016–2018 рр. в умовах Устимівської дослідної станції рослинництва Інституту рослинництва ім. В. Я. Юр’єва НААН досліджено 30 нових зразків гороху походженням із Білорусі, Росії, Канади, Чехії, Німеччини, Нідерландів та Франції. У польових і лабораторних умовах вивчено показники врожайності, продуктивності, маси 1000 зерен, скоростиглості, висоти рослин та висоти прикріплення нижніх бобів над рівнем ґрунту, кількості вузлів до першого бобу й загальної кількості їх на рослині, кількості бобів та насіння на рослині, кількості насіння в бобі, параметри бобу. Результати. Вивчення інтродукованого матеріалу дало змогу виділити сортозразки гороху посівного за комп­лексом цінних ознак. Зокрема, сорти ‘Жнивеньский’, ‘Игуменская улучшенная’, ‘Армеец’, ‘Тесей’, ‘Заранка’ (Білорусь), ‘Boldor’ (Франція) характеризуються високою врожайністю, кількістю бобів на рослині, кількістю насіння з рослини, довжиною бобу та продуктивністю рослини. Сорти ‘Червенский’ (Білорусь), ‘Patrick’, ‘Pluto’ (Канада), ‘Salamanca’ (Німеччина) мають велику довжину бобу та велику кількість насіння в бобі. ‘Boldor’ (Франція), ‘Армеец’ (Білорусь) та ‘Кадет’ (Росія) поєднують у собі показники великої кількості бобів на рослині та продуктивності рослини. ‘Slovan’ (Чехія) та ‘Ульяновец’ (Росія) мають велику довжину бобу. Висновки. Інтродуковані сорти гороху посівного, виділені за комплексом цінних ознак, можна рекомендувати як вихідний матеріал у селекції на підвищення продуктивного й адаптивного потенціалу в умовах Південного Лісостепу України.

Evaluate the introduced samples of the pea (Pisum sativum L.) of various ecological and geographical origins in the conditions of the southern part of the Forest-Steppe zone of Ukraine according to a set of productivity and adaptability indicators. Methods. During 2016–2018 under the conditions of the Ustymivka Experimental Station of Plant Production of Plant Production Institute nd. a. V. Ya. Yuriev, NAAS of Ukraine 30 new pea samples from Belarus, Russia, Canada, the Czech Republic, Germany, the Netherlands and France were investigated. In field and laboratory conditions yields, productivity, 1000 beans weight, early-ripening, plant height and height of attachment of the lower pods above the soil level, number of nodes to the first pod and their total number per plant, number of pods and seeds per plant, number of seeds per pod, pod parameters were studied. Results. The study of the introduced material made it possible to distinguish the varieties of the pea by the complex of valuable features. In particular, varieties ‘Zhniven’skiy’, ‘Igumenskaya uluchshennaya’, ‘Armeec’, ‘Tesey’, ‘Zaranka’ (Belarus), ‘Boldor’ are characterized by high yields, number of pods per plant, number of seeds per plant, length of a pod and productivity of a plant. Varieties ‘Chervenskiy’ (Belarus), ‘Patrick’, ‘Pluto’ (Canada), ‘Salamanca’ (Germany) have a big pod length and large number of seeds in a pod. ‘Boldor’ (France), ‘Armeets’ (Belarus) and ‘Kadet’ (Russia) combine a large number of pods per plant and plant productivity. ‘Slovan’ (Czech Republic) and ‘Ul’yanovets’ (Russia) have a big length of pod. Conclusions. The introduced varieties of the pea, identified by a set of valuable traits, can be recommended as starting material in breeding for increa­sing productive and adaptive potential in the conditions of the Southern Forest-Steppe zone of Ukraine. | Цель. Оценить интродуцированные образцы гороха посевного (Pisum sativum L.) разного эколого-географического происхождения в условиях южной части Лесостепи Украины по комплексу показателей продуктивности и адаптивности. Результаты. Изучение интродуцированного материала позволило выделить сортообразцы гороха посевного по комплексу ценных признаков. Так, сорта ‘Жнивеньский’, ‘Игуменская улучшенная’, ‘Армеец’, ‘Тесей’, ‘Заранка’ (Беларусь), ‘Boldor’ (Франция) характеризуются высокой урожайностью, количеством бобов на растении, количеством семян с растения, длиной боба и продуктивностью растения. Сорты ‘Червенский’ (Беларусь), ‘Patrick’, ‘Pluto’ (Канада), ‘Salamanca’ (Германия) имеют большую длину боба и большое количество семян в бобе. ‘Boldor’ (Франция), ‘Армеец’ (Беларусь) и ‘Кадет’ (Россия) сочетают в себе показатели большого количества бобов на растении и продуктивности растения. ‘Slovan’ (Чехия) и ‘Ульяновец’ (Россия) имеют большую длину боба. Выводы. Интродуцированные сорта гороха посевного, выделенные по комплексу ценных признаков, можно рекомендовать в качестве исходного материала в селекции на повышение продуктивного и адаптивного потенциала в условиях Южной Лесостепи Украины.

The results obtained during observations of the growing season of pea collection varieties in different years in terms of interphase periods are presented. The dependence of the growing season length for varieties of various maturity groups on the duration of certain phases of plant growth (seedling, flowering, ripening), ambient environment (temperature, humidity, daylight hours), processing (seed preparation, line production maintenance) and genetic factors (sequential node of the first inflorescence formation) are shown. According to the study results the varieties-sources of «growing season length» characteristic were specified that have been used as components for breeding in the selection process when creating new domestic varieties.

Purpose. To evaluate pea plants productivity and determine the degree of correlation among the main agronomic characters in pea varieties. Methods. Structural and statistical analysis. Results. Evaluation of pea samples in terms of indices of plant productivity elements level based on correlation analysis and single-factor indices appliance provided insight into the ratio of one trait share per unit of another one. It was defined that some correlations among the elements of productivity was not only moderate and weak, but they also changed their sign that could be the evidence of growth conditions influence on structural relationships bet­ween some traits and, consequently, redistribution of their contributions to the formation of variety productivity. Positive and very close relationship of many traits was revealed, particularly between plant height and the height of the plant up to the first bean, the number of nodes and the number of sterile nodes (r = 0,95–0,97). Methodological aspects of the variety model creation were considered, that may be useful not only in pea breeding but also for improving the techno­logy of its cultivation. Conclusions. Correlation relationships were established between the number of beans and the number of fruiting nodes and the number of carpophores containing 2 beans (r = 0,86–0,88), seed mass and plant mass (r = 0,81), the number of seeds per plant and plant mass and seed mass per plant (r = 0,78–0,81), the number of certified seeds and the number of seeds per plant (r = 0,84), the average number of beans per fertile node and the number of carpophores containing 2 beans (r = 0,74) that makes it possible to use them in assessing the productivity of plants.

Мета. Проаналізувати тенденції виробництва сої культурної в світі та виявити їх вплив на ринок сортів сої культурної в Україні. Виявити динаміку подачі та реєстрації заявок на включення до Державного реєстру сортів рослин, придатних для поширення в Україні. Порівняти урожайність сої культурної у лідерів глобального ринку сої з урожайністю сої культурної, що знаходиться у виробництві в Україні. Висвітлити інформацію щодо кращих за урожайністю нових сортів сої культурної, які включені до Державного реєстру сортів рослин, придатних для поширення в Україні. Методи. Аналітичний, математичний, статистичний, графічний. Результати. Виявлено помітний вплив тенденцій на глобальному ринку сої на динаміку виробництва цієї культури в Україні та скорочення у десятки разів обсягів відставання виробництва сої культурної в Україні порівняно із світовими лідерами в десятки разів. Тенденції приросту виробництва співпадають з тенденціями лідерів глобального ринку сої США, Бразилії та Аргентини. Визначено вплив зростання виробництва на процес реєстрації нових сортів сої культурної у Реєстрі сортів рослин України. З’ясовано, що тренд зростання кількості поданих заявок носить поліноміальний характер. Встановлено, що найбільша кількість сортів сої культурної, що проходила кваліфікаційну експертизу мала українське походження. Вивчено сорти іноземного походження з Канади, Франції, Австрії, США, Німеччини, Аргентини, Кіпру, Польщі, Республіки Сербія, Румунії, Республіки Хорватії, Чеської Республіки, Швейцарії. Визначено нові сорти сої культурної, які мали найвищу врожайність за період кваліфікаційної експертизи з 2010 по 2018 рік. Висновки. Темпи приросту виробництва сої культурної в Україні мають позитивну динаміку. В Реєстрі сортів рослин України переважають сорти українського походження. Середній рівень урожайності сортів сої культурної за 2010–2018 роки відповідає середній врожайності цієї культури у світі. Максимальну врожайність серед сортів, які проходили кваліфікаційну експертизу сортів рослин у період з 2010 по 2018 рік, проявили сорти: ‘Silesia’ французького походження, ‘Естафета’, ‘Терек’, ‘Авантюрин’ українського та сорт канадського походження ‘Kofu’.

Purpose. Determination of sowing time effect on productivity of various fenugreek species in the Forest-Steppe zone of Ukraine. Methods. Field study, laboratory test, analytical approach and statistical evaluation. Results. Effect of sowing time on economic characters of common fenugreek (Trigonella foenum graecum L.) and blue fenugreek (Trigonella coerulea (Desr.) Ser.) was investigated. It was found that sowing time significantly influenced the individual productivity of plants and average yield of their fresh and dry matter. In particular, common and blue fenugreek plants formed not only the most developed vegetation but also higher productivity and fresh and dry matter yield, respectively, due to early-spring sowing. In case of summer sowing, the poorest yield of dry matter per unit was obtained for these species caused by a low fresh yield, though the moisture loss index was lower. Conclusions. Common fenugreek is promising for producing “mushroom grass” spices, and the conveyor supply of production in the Forest-Steep zone of Ukraine can be ensured by the first sowing time (the first or the second decades of April) and the se­cond sowing time (the third decade of April) as during this period more developed vegetation is formed that favored the higher yield of dry matter (1,3–1,5 t/ha).
