It is explained the essence of the formation of seed production of lettuce Lactuca sativa var. secalina L. depending on the form of the inflorescence habitus, which formed during the different areas of plant nutrition. It is substantiated the mechanism of seed formation on different parts of the inflorescence of female plant with identification of it’s sowing quality. It is developed the agrotehnologcal measures aimed at improving the productivity of lettuce seed by overcoming its matrical heteroquality

A comparative research of qualitative characteristics has been performed on qualitative characteristics of modern varieties and hybrids of Sunflower for the five years of research and technical examination in various soil and climate conditions: Steppe, Forest-Steppe. Regularities have been established of the oil fatty-acid composition variability during examination and varieties and hybrids of improved fatty-acid composition have been detected. High-protein and large-fruit sunflower varieties for confectionary use have  been detected.

Розкрито особливості впровадження у культуру салату стеблового (спаржевого, уйсун) в умовах України. Створено новий сорт салату стеблового Погонич, здійснено комплексну оцінку його морфологічних та господарсько-цінних характеристик.

Asa result of supervisions, estimation, description, and analysis of 13 morphological, biological, biometrycal and economic valuable signs 26 varietis of pea vegetable are set sizes of phenotypical coefficients of correlation between them.

За оригінальною методикою проведено оцінювання стійкості 16 сортів смородини чорної проти комплексу сисних фітофагів: агрусової пагонової попелиці, великої смородинової попелиці, червоносмородинової попелиці, смородинового брунькового кліща, звичайного павутинного кліща. Досліджувані сорти за рівнем комплексної стійкості розділено на 3 групи: стійкі (бали 7 - 6) - Володимирівська, Ювілейна Копаня, Черешнева, Сюїта київська, Німфа, Чернеча, Софіївська, Тітанія; середньо- стійкі (бали 5-4) - Козацька, Дочка Ворскли, Вернісаж, Пам’ятна, Українка, Альта; нестійкі (бали 3 - 2) - Санюта (St), Аметист. Наведено господарську, економічну й енергетичну ефективність сортів.

В статті показана можливість ідентифікації сортів сої за допомогою морфобіологічних властивостей, зокрема тривалості міжфазних періодів. Вивчений поліморфізм сортів сої за комплексом господарських ознак: вмістом білка та олії в насінні сої, урожайністю, масою 1000 зерен.

Development and improvement of a female component of MS hybrids of sugar beet were carried out on the basis of the following methods: inereasing frequency of occurrence of sterility maintainers by means of preliminary saturation of the population with alleles of the x and z genes; the use, as a female form, of simple sterile hybrids from the crossing of sterile lines with unrelated O-types; and also the drawing in of complexes of valuable genes from materials of foreign origin.

Basic results is resulted multidimen-sional statistical analysis of varieties of pea vegetable as initial material for the breeding of new varieties.

The possibilities of utilizing testers different genetical structure are considered. The peculiarities of testers productivity formation are ascertained. The dynamics of influence inbreed lines, testers and one's interaction on hybrids productivity are investigated. The peculiarities of hybrids productivity formation depending on utilizing testers and one's combining are indicated.

Tere are discussed results of joint Bukovino-moldavian corn breeding programmer, as a result which are created two registered hybrids, one perspective, and new material for the further work.
