The present work has two parts. The first one deals about the results obtained in the study of the water evaporation and the water movement in sandy and sandy-clay soil samples. The samples are wetted by imbibition and subjected to drying on four different evaporating demands. The accumulated evaporation of water to the end of periods of 24, 48, 72, 96, 120 and 144 hours is determined using gravimetric controls. The water mobility during the drying process is analysed by the study of the initial and final soil-water profiles. The data obtained show that the evaporation rate is greater in the sandy-clay soil than in the sandy soil, excepting to the end of the process; furthermore, the sandy-clay soil has a more adjustable water mobility.

The genus Pseudopedinella was found in the provinces of Madrid, Guadalajara and Cuenca, during the years 1973, 1974 and 1980. This genus belongs to the family Pedinellaceae, order Chrornulinales, class Chrysophyceae. It was never seen alive, always fixed with lugol, nor it was possible to culture, that is the reason why it is problematic to assign it to one of the four described freshwater species. According to its size it may be P. erkensis SKUJA, P. elastica SKUJA or P. ambigua BOURRELLY. It was always found in cold waters, nearly saturated of oxygen, and generally with a little contamination. | Se han encontrado en las provincias de Madrid, Guadalajara y Cuenca el género Pseudopedinella, de la familia Pedinellaceae, orden Chrornulinales, clase Chrysophyceae; durante los años 73, 74 y 80. No se ha logrado ver viva, siempre se ha estudiado fijada en lugol. No se ha podido cultivar, por lo que resulta problemática el asignarla a una de las cuatro especies descritas de agua dulce.
