High performance liquid chromatographic analysis of Cloramphenicol in 27 chicken samples from 8 markets within the Bangkok Metropolis and 4 slaughter houses was performed. Chloramphenicol was found in 15% of chicken meat samples and 30% in liver samples in the level of 0.02-0.05 and 0.04-0.14 mg/Kg respectively which were very low
