Chloramphenicol residue in chicken meat and liver

269 Samples of chicken meat and liver were extracted for chloramphenicol residue by using High Pressure Liquid Chromatography. It was found that 27 percent of chicken meat samples and 84 percent of liver samples were positive. The maximum detected residue was 0.086, and 0.234 mg.kg, respectively
