Influence of low temperature storage on regenerative capacity of sour cherry cultures

The number of shoots obtained from the stored cultures increased with storage time, reaching the highest value after 6 weeks of storage for North Star and Schattenmorelle cvs. and after 8 weeks for Kelleris cv. Longer periods of low temperature were inhibitory to plant regeneration in comparison to the optimal treatment
