Meat value of male lambs of native breeds and of synthetic lines fattened to 35 kg

The highest dressing percentage, loin eye area, weight of more valuable cuts and meat content in the carcass were found in the lambs from Black Head meat type line and from prolific meat line (dressing percentage and tissue composition). The lambs of Wielkopolska Sheep and of Polish Merino breeds had lower values than those of both meat lines but the slaughter results were better than in the lambs from prolific-wool line
