The changes in titre and immunogenicity were studied of lyophilized vaccines stored in a refrigerator at 4 degree C and -20 degree C. It is demonstrated that the preservation of the biological properties depends on the duration of the storage. When appropriate storage is applied the vaccines maintain their efficiency for a longer period than the expire date determined by the producer. Vaccines are best preserved at -20 degree C for a period of 3 years.
