Influence of bread containing diet fibers to glycemic response

The influence of bread containing diet fibers of sugar-beet origin (75 g) to glycemic response during OGTT test is analyzed in the paper, and this compared to glycemic response during OGTT test with 75 g glucose in 31 overweight persons. Significantly less glycemia value were determied (p=0.0000000016) and (p=0.137) during OGTT test with 75 g bread containing diet fibers of sugar-beet origin. Bread containing diet fibers originating from sugar-beet is functional food useful in nutrition of healthy people and people with mass noncommunicable diseases.
