russe. Нижнее Поволжье, Кубань и Северный Кавказ являются основными зонами возделывания бахчевых культур. Получение высоких урожаев в значительной мере зависит от качества ухода за посевами. Для ухода за ними требуется выполнять ряд специфичных операций. В течение всего вегетационного периода должно быть проведено три-четыре междурядных обработки почвы и прополки сорняков в междурядьях и рядках. При третьей и особенно четвертой обработке плети разрастаются настолько, что затрудняют проезд агрегата по полю и возможность обработки почвы под плетями. Поэтому перед культивацией необходимо сместить плети с междурядья на рядок, а после обработки их надо сразу же разложить на междурядье. В статье рассмотрен процесс перемещения плетей рабочим органом и найдены условия, при которых этот процесс выполняется с их минимальным травмированием. Установлено, что плеть можно перемещать в заданное положение с минимальными повреждениями, если траектория движения рабочего органа будет циклоида. Качество укладки, а еще в большей мере раскладки плетей, зависит от формы этой циклоиды, которая, в свою очередь, зависит от отношения окружной скорости пальцев рабочего органа к поступательной скорости его перемещения.
