In thispaper, the antimicrobial potential and the in vitro protective effects on DNAdamage induced by hydroxyl and peroxyl radicals of above-ground part (APA) androot (APR) methanolic extracts of garlic mustard were examined, for the first time.The obtained results indicate that APA and APR extracts exhibited moderateantimicrobial activity and significant DNA-protective potential on free radicalinduced oxidative damage, which encourages further research and their potentialuse for nutritional and
