2001
Kennedy, E.
The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC) is viewed as one of the most successful public health nutrition programs in the United States. Senator George McGovern, at the May 2000, National Nutrition Summit, referred to WIC as the perfect program. The influence of key organizations and individuals in the WIC program are discussed.
