Wypas kulturowy owiec na terenie Tatrzańskiego Parku Narodowego jako przykład gospodarowania zgodnego z zasadami ekorozwoju

Kulturowy wypas wielkoobszarowy na terenie Tatrzańskiego Parku Narodowego jest formą ochrony górskiego krajobrazu, wyjątkowego ekosystemu spasanych hal, jest także sposobem przekazywania i utrwalania podhalańskich tradycji, ściśle związanych z gospodarką pastwiskową. Celem niniejszej pracy było wykazanie wpływu wypasu kulturowego zarówno na środowisko, jak i na miejscową ludność. Aby uzyskać materiał do analizy, od sierpnia do września 2013 r. przeprowadzono badanie ankietowe wśród baców wypasających na terenie TPN. Ankiety wykazały, że wypas owiec korzystnie wpływa na krajobraz i środowisko, stwarza też szansę aktywizacji społecznej na terenie Podhala. Nie bez znaczenie jest czynnik ekonomiczno-kulturowy, bowiem wypas wielkoobszarowy tworzy miejsca pracy, ubogaca region i wspiera turystyk
