The article discloses the meaning of botanical semantics, highlights practical appliance of binary scientific botanic nomenclature during plant varieties identification. It is the binary nomenclature of introduced cultivars that requires a scientific approach to structuring and developing the methodological and source learning database of botanical names in Ukrainian and Latin. According to the results of analytic monitoring, research aspects of differentiation of systematic units are shown, as well as certain rules and recommendations concerning theoretically sustained names of botanical taxa in Ukrainian and Latin. The scientific search for harmonization will enable to improve the practical appliance of methodological and linguistic and orthographic requirements and rules of spelling for botanical taxa names during the registration of rights on them. Spelling harmonization by Linnaeus semantic (in Latin) will facilitate a uniform approach to updating methodological and source studying database of binary names of the introduced cultivars of botanical taxa.

The article deals with analysis of scientific publications in the field of plant breeding, seed production and variety testing, archival documents and published government regulations. The comprehensive study lack according to creating history of a special protection system of plant variety rights is grounded, the necessary reproduction of stages of the State Protection of Plant Varieties forming is performed.

Assessment has been carried out for parental lines and hybrid combinations of forage beet by individual indices of productivity and morphological characteristics of root storages. Best combinations have been selected for further crossing and breeding.

The article represents results of renewal to officinal pilot models of varieties of long-fibred flax and crown flax to bring in to high-yielding properties to the environmental conditions of areas of Forest Ukraine. The high content of phenolic compounds (quercetin-3-O-glycoside, izoramnetine-3-O-glycoside, 4'-metoxykempferol-3-O-glycoside, 4'-metoxyqvercetine-3-0-glycoside, apigenine and luteoline) in flowers of Prunus cerasifera Ehrh. in comparison with Prunus armeniaca L. has been shown. That can be the reason weak susceptibility of generative organs of cherry-plum to Sclerotinia (Monilinia) laxa (Aderh et Ruhl.) Honey.

The results of investigation of pigmental complex and anatomical structure of red currant leaves in connection with the drought resistance are given. The genotypes of red currant: «Gazel», «Belka», «Jonker van Tets», «Viksne», «Selyanochka», «Niva», «Gollandskaya krasnaya», «1432-29-98» and «1426-21-80» have more xeromorphic structure of leaves, providing of ecological tolerance to drought and high temperature. Varieties «Roza», «Dana» have a low adaptation to drought resistance.

The article shows the dependence of economic efficiency of production of winter wheat cultivation technology and the degree of intensity of cultivation of the variety. Comprehensive considered one of the main characteristics of the variety, namely the degree of intensity of cultivation of the variety.

Те article reflects summary of hybridization and assessment of genetic value of pollen-sterile maternal lines of various origin and tetraploid pollinators produced by Bila Tserkva selection. High differential potential of pollinator-testers has been established. Best components exhibiting high combinative features have been detected, which served as a baseline for establishing MS (male sterile) hybrids of sugar beets.
