The main reasons hindering expansion of assortment of horticultural crops and negatively affecting the provision of Ukraine’s population with horticultural production were discussed. The trend towards global unification of genotypes with parallel reduction of potential to andropoadaptability of chief horticultural crops is recognized as one of the main causes for instability in domestic horticulture crops production. Appropriate measures are proposed, including intensification of zonal specialization and intensification of the state protectionism over both domestic fruit farming and research developments, first of all in breeding and genetics, aimed at the ability to meet various requirements of producers, processors and consumers of fruits and berries to new cultivars. | Обсуждены основные причины, тормозящие расширение сортимента плодовых и ягодных культур и отрицательно влияющие на состояние обеспечения населения Украины садоводческой продукцией. Тенденция глобальной унификации генотипов с параллельным уменьшением антропоадаптивного потенциала ведущих плодовых и ягодных культур признается одной из главных причин нестабильности отечественного плодоягодного производства. Предлагаются соответствующие меры, в частности касающиеся углубления зональной специализации и усиления государственного протекционизма как отечественного плодоводства, так и научных, прежде всего селекционно-енетических, разработок, ориентированных на способность удовлетворять разнообразные требования производителя, переработчика и потребителя плодов и ягод к новым сортам. | Обговорено основні причини, що гальмують розширення сортименту плодових і ягідних культур і негативно впливають на стан забезпечення населення України садівничою продукцією. Тенденція до глобальної уніфікації генотипів з рівнобіжним зменшенням антропоадаптивного потенціалу провідних плодових і ягідних культур визнається однією з головних причин нестабільності вітчизняного плодоягідного виробництва. High differential potential of pollinator-testers has been established. It is established that, in the complex of many of those characteristics characterizing variety phenotype, for its identification only those characteristics are used that are exposed to lesser degree to the influence of environmental conditions.
