Higher temperature (70-72 C) were obtained from dryer 1 which used black plastic bed collector with gravel compared to dryers 2 and 3 (boulders with pulverized coconut charcoal). Dryer 2 exhibited faster rate of moisture removal in the drying process, with only 4 days of drying compared to 6 days of drying for dryer 1 and 8 days for dryer 3. This implied that the collector of dryer 2 has more efficient heat storage. Although higher temperatures were obtained in dryer 1, its surface cooled off faster than the other two dryers
