Growth performance of peanut hay-fed goats in combination with ipil-ipil

Sixteen goats were randomly distributed into 4 dietary treatments namely (1) 100% fresh ipil-ipil; (2) 75% ipil-ipil, 25% peanut hay; (3) 50% fresh ipil-ipil, 50% peanut hay; (4) 25% ipil-ipil, 75% of peanut hay. Results showed that liveweight of goats, average total and daily gain were similar among treatments. Although concentrate intake were not higher for goats fed 100% ipil-ipil (119.86 kg) and lowest for goats given 25% ipil-ipil and 75% peanut hay (11.90 kg). Feed efficiency values were found similar among treatments
