Studies on the treatment of mange in buffaloes with Asuntol 0.1% in the northeastern part of Thailand

Twenty two mangy buffaloes from 3 different villages in Kho-Kaen were treated with 4 litres of 0.1% Asuntol solution and were observed 4 times at weekly intervals. Sixteen of these animals were affected by sarcoptic and 6 by psoroptic mange. After the last treatment, psoroptic mange disappeared, but sarcoptic mange was still found from skin scraping. The animals showed signs of recovery
