This contribution describes plant protection development in Yugoslavia from 1918 to 1941. It describes the work of reporting and advisory services, legal regulations in plant protection field, some measures of controling calamitous appearance of more important plant pests, plant and plant products health control in importation and inland circulation, plant protection agents control, research work in the plant protection sphere.
