Incidence of serological OK groups of Escherichia coli in pigs

Only a few out of a great number of serological Escherichia coli OK groups are important for the occurrence of colibacillosis in pigs of different ages. The total of 15 serological OK groups of Escherichia coli was found. Adhesion factors K 88 and K 99 are more frequent in sucking pigs and much rarer in piglets and fattening pigs.
