Silvipastoral farming for increasing productivity of forage, fuel, and fodder in Indian wastelands

The results of silvipastoral research studies conducted at the Indian Grassland and Fodder Research Institute (IGFRI) in Jhansi, India, are reviewed. The performance of selected grass and tree species suitable for silvipastoral farming on degraded wastelands based on the Institute's experiments is discussed in detail.
