The investigated stand belongs to maturing, mountainous beech forest on deep district cambisol. The number of trees/ha is 562, sum of the basal area 34.9 m2/ha and the volume increment 13.2 m3/ha. Measures (intensity, period and way of thinning) as well as further treatment are recommended.
