Control of woolly aphid Eriosoma lanigerum (Hausm.) in the stoolbeds of the vegetative apple rootstocks [with carbosulfan, methyldemeton among others]

One spray with: Kilval, Furadan 350 F, Dursban 4 E, Marshal 25 EC and Metasystex "i" forte, showed good control of woolly aphid on shoots. Kilval was effective against woolly aphids feeding on the lower parts of plants. Also dipping plants in the solution of Unden (propoxur) and of Dursban (carbofuran) applied in the fall and spring terms was effective
