The most important elaborations were done in the Institute of Agricultural and Food Economics, Economic and Agricultural Chair of Warsaw Agricultural Development and Agribusiness Chair in Warsaw School of Commerce. There is an urgent need to get in parallel touch with the leading world centres dealing with teoretical aspects of agricultural economics. The main obstacle for this is unsufficient progress and in some cases even regress, in the development of young scientific staff
