Morphological characteristics of Mirror carp of different mass and under different rearing technology

Four groups, each of 10 fish and a total of 40 fish with mass under and above 500 g were studied. For each fish were determined 32 characteristics. It wsa found that basin and fish pond technologies had smaller influence on body measurements and considerably on internal organs. The amount of edible parts was higher in carp teared in fish ponds compared to those reared in the basins. Carp reared in Bulgaria was with higher percentage of edible parts than that reared in Russia, Ukraine and Germany.
