Study on the flower development of 3 arabica Coffee Varieties (Progeny 86, Yellow Catuai and Yellow Cattinor) showed that stigma resceptivity started at the stage of flower bud length of 1 cm (3-4 days prior to fullbloom). Anthesis occurred however later at the bud length of more than 2 cm (1-2 day before the fullbloom stage).
