Potassium level in sera of 41 Thai elephants at Thai Elephant Conservation Center, Lampang province examined between March 1996 and December 1997 was 5.05+-1.06 mmol/l. Age negatively influenced on sera potassium (b=-0.03, r sub 2=0.36, p0.01) and sexual difference was significant (P0.05). Seasonal variation was found; the lowest mean value (4.62 mmol/l) was in summer of which statistically different from rainy and winter season. There was no difference in mean value of rainy and winter season (P0.05).
