Valoración de la difenamida en el control de malezas en Pinus caribaea var. caribaea.

La investigación se realizó en la Estación Experimental Forestal d Topes de Collantes, provincia de Sancti Spíritus, en canteros dond se producen posturas de Pinus caribaea var. caribaea a raíz desnuda. Se valoró el comportamiento de le difenamida aplicada con tratamiento premergente en dosis de 3,00; 3,50 y 4,00 kg/ha i.a., con el fin d determinar su efecto sobre las malezas y si era tóxico a la planta cultivada. El mejor control sobre las malezas anuales fue con las dosis de 4,00 kg/ha i. a., pero este herbicida resultó tóxico a las posturas de pino.

The research was made in the Experimental Forestry Station of Topes de Collantes (Sancti Spiritus), using pieces of ground with Pinus caribaea var. caribaea seedlings naked root. It was evaluated the behavior of difenamide applied as pre-emergent treatment in doses of 3,00; 3,50 and 4,00 kg/ha a.i. with the objective of determining its effect over the weeds and its toxicity in relation to the plants. Using doses of 4,00 kg/ha. a.i. we got the best control over the annual weeds, but the herbicide result toxic for pines seedlings.
