Crop Cultivation and Climate Characteristics of Different Agricultural Zone in North Korea

This study was carried out to investigate climate characteristics of different agricultural zone in North Korea for the optimum arrangement of crops and varieties suitable to its climate. There are nine agricultural zones of North Korea, namely, Western Coastal Plain zone, Western Central Mountainous, Northern Mountainous, Central Mountainous, North East Northern Coastal, East Central Coastal, South East Northern Coastal, Northern Inland Semi-Alpine and Pyeongyang suburb zone.
