Otopentacepheus new genus seven new species and one new record of otocepheinae (Acari: Oribatida: Octocepheidae) from the Philippines

The genus Otopentacepheus is described as new to science, with O. heterosetus n.sp. as type species. Six other new species belonging to the genera Acrotocepheus, Cerostocepheus, Papuacepheus and Phillipotocepheus are described, and G. diehli Mahunka is reported for the first time in the Philippines. Keys are provided to the known genera of Otocepheus, to Philippine species of Acrocepheus, and to known species of Cerostocepheus and Papuacepheus.
