Solution of the problem on harmless removal of the wastes of animal origin has gone through different stages and was always closely connected to diseases which occurred with animals and people. Importance of the non-harmful disposal of byproducts of animal origin without their utilization or with the utilization grows together with the intensification of animal production and with building-up of meat processing facilities. At present time even more attention is given to the protection and improvement of the environment, having in mind the act that generation heaping-up of wastes threats the environment.
