To investigate the potassium effect on tea green leaf, a field experiment was conducted in randomized complete block design with four treatments and three replications on tea hybride in Feshalam Tea Research Station. The treatments were NP+0 kg K2O, NP+50 kg K2O, NP+100 kg K2O and NP+150 kg K2O per hectar. Each plot was 4×5 m2 and the total surface area was 400 m2. Nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium were used from urea, triple super phosphate and potassium sulfate respectively. Green leaf yield was plucked, weighted and recorded. In each year pooled analysis of variance was carried out for three years with MSTAT-C statistical program. The results showed that the effects of treatments on yield was not significant but average yield of three years in T2 (NP+50 kg K2O/ha ) was the highest (10520 kg green leef/ha) and T1 (NP) was the lowest (9870 kg green leef/ha) .
