In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus in 2007-2008 there was analyzed the influence of sea-buckthorn (Hippophae rhamnoides L.) propagation plantings management methods on shoot yield from 1 plant and biometrical indexes of shoots. The study was carried out in course of a field experiment in the conditions of the Institute for Fruit Growing (Belarus) by an example of propagation plants of cultivars Plamennaya, Trofimovskaya and a male form 04-17-96. Research results showed the useless of the propagation method by vertical layers for the commercial seedling growing. The sea-buckthorn propagation planting which was cultivated in accordance with a type of hedgegrow (with tree height of 20 cm and fellow land; planting scheme -1.4 x 0.5 m) made it possible to obtain more than 450 thousand high quality cuttings per hectare for the first two years. This exceeded the cutting yield (on 82-89%) in case of propagation planting with height 50 cm and fellow land and planting scheme of 3.0 x 0.5 m.
