As nutrition programs for the preschool audience develop and expand, methods are needed to ensure the validity and reliability of the evaluation process for this age group. The purpose of this article is to survey methods reported in the literature for studying nutrition knowledge and dietary habits of preschoolers. The goal is to stimulate educators and researchers to utilize more sophisticated approaches in evaluation and assessment procedures.
