Because of heavy drainage of the bog of Narathiwat Province, the soil on the fringe of the bog has become more acidicity, soil reaction is unsuitable for soil agriculture. The objective of the experiment is to find out some local amendment for improvement. The experiment was done on Ra-ngae soil with 3x6 factorial in randomized complete block. The treatment consisted of 6 levels of ground rock phosphate (0, 156.25, 312.50, 468.75, 625.00 and 781.25 kg/hectare), 3 levels of ground limestone (0, 6.25 and 12.50 kg/hectare) and 187.50 kg/hectare of fertilizer 15-15-15. The growth and yield of mungbean highly responded to 5 factors of combination. A reasonable treatment was 468.75 kg/ha of rock phosphate with 6.25 tons/ha and fertilizers. However, the yield of mungbean was very low, it might be because of unsuitable rate of fertilizers.
