For the cultivation of shiitake mushrooms oak and aspen sawdust proved to be the most suitable. Productivity of mushrooms with their use in substratum block amounts to 210 g and 195 g correspondingly. It is not expedient to apply sawdust of coniferous species for the cultivation of mushrooms. The optimal correlation of sawdust of different species of trees is the following: oak sawdust (50 %) with addition of 10 % of alder sawdust and 20 % of aspen sawdust.
