A total of 96 13-week-old Bangcock 380 pullets were used to investigate the effects of fermented product on faecal Enterbacteriaceae count, faecal LAB count and faecal pH. Results indicated that the addition of fermented product (FP) as an additive to the basal diet increased significantly (P 0.05) the faecal LAB counts and decreased significantly (P 0.05) the faecal Enterobacteriaceae counts. Supplementing the fermented product in the diets of pullet also lowered the faecal pH values compared to the control groups.
