Английский. The impoundments built gradually in streams for the hydroelectricity and for the man others activities had led to changes in habitat and in fauna. For a decade, many managers have observed changes in the substrat, now they need quantitative responses to many questions on the effects of fine sediment on the aquatic fauna. This study was conducted : to classify the effects of hydraulic factors, inorganic and organic sediment composition on macroinvertebrates and, to study the relationships between sediment composition and invertebrates, integrating the hyporheic dimension of streams.

Французский. Les aménagements construits peu à peu sur les cours d'eau pour la production d'électricité ont conduit à des changements de l'habitat aquatique ansi que de la faune. Depuis une dizaine d'années de nombreux gestionnaires de cours d'eau ont constaté des changements dans la structure su substrat et ils recherchent des réponses quantitatives à différentes questions notamment sur les effets des sédiments fins sur la faune aquatique.
