ACCUMULATION OF TRACE ELEMENTS IN LICHEN OF THE PARMELIA SULCATA TAYLOR SPECIES IN KALININGRAD

The levels of accumulation of iron, manganese, zinc, nickel, strontium, calcium, rubidium and bromine in the thallomes of lichen of the Parmelia sulcata Taylor species in urban conditions are discussed. The content of trace elements was determined by X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy, their concentration was determined in Kaliningrad, as well as in a part of the region remote from the urban agglomeration, compared with which the content of Br, Sr, Rb and Fe is 2-3 times higher. Based on the results of elemental analysis, methods of mathematical statistics, factor analysis, two associations of elements united by the principle of probable origin were identified. The first association consists of elements of anthropogenic origin associated with atmospheric air pollution (Fe, Zn, Mn, Ni, Rb) the second is probably due to the physiological characteristics of lichen (Ca, Sr, Br, Zn)
