Taplinia, a new genus of Asteraceae (Inuleae) from Western Australia

Taplinia Lander, a new genus, is described with a single species, T. saxatilis Lander, from Western Australia. It appears to belong to the tribe Inuleae subtribe Gnaphaliineae, although its affinities there are obscure.
