Imazethapyr can control dodder (Cuscuta spp.) infestation in faba bean [Vicia faba]

Pre-emergence application of the herbicide imazethapyr at 75 g a.i./ha was found highly effective in controlling Cuscuta spp. on faba bean (Vicia faba L.). Also, a post-emergence application of imazethapyr at 20 g a.i./ha at the pre-flowering stage of faba bean provided good control of Cuscuta infestation without exhibiting and phytotoxicity.
