Weighing-buoyancy method to measure the rate of water absorption by the seeds of cultivated plants

Paper presents the results of measuring water absorption rate by swelling seeds of selected cultivated plants at application of weighing-buoyancy method. Water absorption was estimated on the basis of seed weight changes in a container put on an electronic balance connected to computer.
