Caracterización de la red de suministro de agua potable (RSAP) respecto a la distribución arquitectónica de edificaciones para uso residencial | Characterization of the drinking water supply network (DWSN) respect to the architectural distribution of buildings for residential use

La red de suministro de agua potable (RSAP) es fundamental para el diseño de una edificación; este recurso es vital para satisfacer las necesidades básicas de una población. A medida que pasa el tiempo, el diseño de las edificaciones cambia debido a la modernización de viviendas y el constante avance ingenieril. Por tal motivo, esta investigación presenta un análisis detallado de la relación existente entre la arquitectura y la RSAP en edificaciones de uso residencial, a partir de la metodología “Clave Tundama”, la cual permite analizar variables como el cálculo hidráulico de la ruta crítica, el equipo hidroneumático, el sistema de suministro y la ubicación y tipo de tanque. Para ello, fue necesario realizar el trazado a veinte (20) edificaciones con ayuda del Software AutoCAD, con el fin de estimar factores cualitativos y cuantitativos de la RSAP. Principalmente, se hizo un análisis hidráulico para identificar el peor escenario de pérdidas entre los tramos existentes, los cuales comprenden agua fría y caliente. Además, se asignó una categorización a cada una de las viviendas, con el objeto de englobar sus características cualitativas e identificar la relación entre cada arquitectura. Con esto se logró la caracterización de la RSAP, brindando un mejor servicio a los moradores; a partir de una categorización de variables cualitativas determinantes para el sistema, indicando que la distribución arquitectónica es quien determina cuando se genera el peor caso de pérdidas de totales del sistema (ruta crítica). De igual forma, a partir de las unidades de consumo se estimaron distintos rangos, los cuales identifican variables como el diámetro acorde a las necesidades topológicas de la red, el aparato crítico y número de bombas e hidroacumuladores del sistema.

The drinking-water supply is essential for the design of a building; this resource is vital to satisfy the basic needs of a population. As time goes by, the design of buildings changes due to the modernization of houses and constant engineering advances. For this reason, this research presents a detailed analysis of the relationship between architecture and RSAP in buildings for residential use, based on the “Clave Tundama” methodology, which allows the analysis of variables such as the hydraulic calculation of the critical path, the hydropneumatic equipment, the supply system and the location and type of tank. For this, it was necessary to trace twenty (20) buildings with the help of AutoCAD Software, in order to estimate qualitative and quantitative factors of the RSAP. Mainly, a hydraulic analysis was carried out to identify the worst scenario of energy losses among the existing sections, which comprise hot and cold water. In addition, a categorization was assigned to each of the dwellings, in order to encompass their qualitative characteristics and identify the relationship between each architecture. With this, the characterization of the RSAP was achieved, providing a better service to the residents; from a categorization of qualitative variables determining the system, indicating that the architectural distribution is the one who determines when the worst case of total system losses is generated (critical path). Similarly, from the consumption units, different ranges were estimated, which identify variables such as the diameter according to the topological needs of the network, the critical device and the number of pumps and hydroaccumulators in the system.
