En el presente documento se presenta el Programa de Ahorro y Uso eficiente de Agua para el colegio Instituto Tecnológico del Sur. La elaboración se llevó a cabo identificando la situación y el consumo actual del recurso hídrico en la institución, y se plantearon estrategias de carácter educativo para sensibilizar a la población estudiantil sobre el uso adecuado del agua. Se generaron cuatro fases de trabajo, en la primera se consultó y recopilo información sobre los consumos de agua en la institución, con el fin de hacer un diagnóstico que permitiera generar alternativas para optimizar el uso del recurso; la segunda consistió en comparar los cálculos de la dotación con lo establecido en el titulo B del RAS, en la tercera fase se realizaron una serie de campañas de ahorro y uso eficiente del agua y finalmente se elaboró y se entregó al colegio la guía de uso y manejo del agua con el fin de que los lideres ambientales desarrollen el plan a cabalidad.
