Abstract: A brief manual highlights the requirements, role, and responsibility of food vendors participating in the Illinois WIC program. Topics include the types of authorization forms used by WIC clients; food items required from vendors for the WIC program; limitations on modifiying and guidelines for submission and reimbursement of food authorization forms; and penalties (warning; suspension; termination) for specific types of vendor abuse.
