Bibliographical data on Heinemann is not available. The Library of Congress holds several of his manuscripts, but the reference librarian replied that he can not find any biographical information at all on Heinemann.
Born 1882 in Shelby County, Illinois, C. B. (Charles Brunk) Heinemann (1882-1955) was one of the founders of the National Independent Meat Packers Association (NIMPA). Heinemann served as the association's secretary, then as executive vice president and assistant treasurer. In 1948, he was elected as NIMPA's president, an office he held until 1953. He died in 1953 in Hollywood, Florida.
