Development of Spring Wheat: II. The Effect of Temperature on Responses to Photoperiod
1958
Riddell, J. A. | Gries, George A.
SynopsisTwo varieties of spring wheat, Chinese and White Federation 38, flower earlier as the daylength increases, the former variety being much less sensitive to changes in photoperiod and temperature than the latter. Chinese was earlier under cool-temperature, short-day conditions, and White Federation 38 was earlier in a long-day, warm-temperature environment.
