Chemical composition of essential oil of Callistemon citrinus (Curtis) Skeel from Reunion

The composition of the water-distilled essential oil of Callistemon citrinus (Curtis) Skeels was determined by GC, GC/MS and GC/FTIR. The oil was found to be rich in 1,8-cineole (68.0%), alpha-pinene (12.8%) and alpha-terpineol (10.6%).
